Clear, Predictable Fees
Legal fees should be understandable.
Whether you are hiring an attorney for yourself, your family, or your business, you should understand how you will be charged and what your engagement covers.
Our Approach
Schoendorf Law offers several fee structures depending on the nature and scope of the representation.
Fixed-Fee Legal Services
Fixed fees may be available for legal matters with a defined scope, including certain business, transactional, real estate, and other legal services. When a fixed fee is available, the scope and applicable fee are established as part of the engagement.
Ongoing Counsel
Businesses and other clients with recurring legal needs may benefit from an ongoing counsel arrangement. These engagements are tailored to the client's anticipated needs and can provide more consistent access to legal guidance without treating every question as a separate legal engagement.
Litigation Services
Defense Litigation — $99/Hour
For qualifying defense litigation matters, Schoendorf Law offers attorney time at $99 per hour. The rate applies to qualifying matters and is subject to the scope and terms of the engagement. Retainers, expenses, third-party costs, and certain services may be separate.
Plaintiff Litigation
Schoendorf Law represents plaintiffs in qualifying civil and commercial matters. Depending on the circumstances, alternative fee arrangements may be available. Because every case is different, eligibility, structure, and terms are determined following an evaluation of the matter.
Other Fee Arrangements
Not every legal matter fits neatly within a fixed-fee or standard hourly structure. Depending on the nature of the representation, Schoendorf Law may offer hourly, fixed, alternative, or other customized fee arrangements. Applicable terms are discussed with the client before the engagement begins.
Start With a Conversation
The right fee structure depends on the work. Tell us about your legal needs. We can determine whether Schoendorf Law is the right fit, discuss the appropriate scope of representation, and explain the applicable fee arrangement.
